CashStash KC Treasure Hunt Terms & Conditions

Participation = Agreement

By searching for or claiming any CashStash KC treasure, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not participate. Participation in any form constitutes acceptance of all rules, disclaimers, and waivers here.

1. Personal Responsibility

Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your safety, conduct, health, and decisions. You assume all risks of injury, illness, damage, or loss, whether foreseen or unforeseen.

2. Risks

Treasure hunts may involve walking, running, climbing, crossing streets, being near traffic, exploring outdoor areas, exposure to weather, and interacting with the public. Hazards include slips, trips, falls, vehicles, animals, property conditions, crime, or actions of other participants. By joining, you accept all such risks.

3. Release of Liability

By participating, you release CashStash KC, its organizers, owners, affiliates, sponsors, and partners from any and all claims of injury, loss, or damage that may occur, even if caused by negligence.

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CashStash KC and its affiliates against any claims, damages, costs, attorney fees, or liabilities caused by your actions, including harm to property or others.

5. No Guarantee of Safety or Access

CashStash KC does not guarantee that any clue, location, or prize is safe, accessible, or suitable. You must avoid unsafe or illegal activity and respect all property. Trespassing, vandalism, or destruction of property is not allowed.

6. Minors

Participants under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian. Parents/guardians are fully responsible for a minor’s participation and accept these terms on their behalf.

7. Photos & Media

By participating, you grant CashStash KC the right to use photos, videos, or other media from the event for promotion without payment or further approval.

8. Rules & Law

You agree to follow all hunt instructions, obey all laws, and act respectfully. Trespassing, vandalism, littering, or illegal conduct will result in disqualification.

9. No Refunds

Participation is free unless otherwise stated. If entry fees are charged, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, weather, or other circumstances.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Kansas & Missouri law. Any dispute must be resolved exclusively in Kansas & Missouri courts. If any portion is invalid, the rest remains in effect.

11. Assumption of Risk & Waiver

By participating, you acknowledge that treasure hunts involve inherent risks and assume full responsibility for all consequences. You expressly waive any right to sue or hold liable CashStash KC or its affiliates for injuries, damages, or losses connected in any way to the event.

12. Prize Conditions

CashStash KC reserves the right to withhold or revoke any prize if a participant engages in unsafe behavior, violates laws, disrespects property, acts dishonestly, harasses others, or harms the reputation of CashStash KC, its partners, or sponsors or engages in other conduct reasonably deemed inappropriate or damaging. Decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
